Los Perdidos remembers the children of "unsuitable," socialist parents during the Franco regime in Spain. There were forceably removed from their parents and given to more suitable, Franco supporting, parents. Following the end of the fascist regime nearly fifty years ago, many were reunited with their birth parents, but many were never able to find them. Those lost children are now reaching middle and even old age having never been found.
